KLA is a global leader in the semiconductor industry, with over $4B in revenue and offices around the world. Salt Branding was approached to revitalize their brand and attract and retain talent seeking a fresh perspective showcasing the positive impacts they can make in the world. In response, our team created an aspirational positioning focused on the power of optimism, visually and typographically modernizing the brand.
This successful rebrand included a visual system integrated to consistently represent the KLA brand on many touchpoints including their website, posters, stickers, advertising, signage, and swag. I led the implementation of this system and the production of the brand guidelines, which included the mathematical formulation of the pattern to use on various sizes of communications.
With Salt Branding, KLA's creative won one gold, one silver, and two bronzes at the 2019 Transform Awards North America.
