Jonas’ Joy

Jonas' Joy was imagined when Jonas, diagnosed with lymphoma in 2022, was going through treatment. Inspiration for the toys came when making soft toys for Jonas and his sister, Arwen. While he was going through chemo, he didn't like crunchy food or hard toys, and these provided him with something he was happy to play with. The care and compassion of his oncology team helped further inspire the creation of Jonas’ Joy and the desire to contribute to ongoing efforts in animal cancer research and treatment. Our mission is to help animals live longer, more joyful lives, by engaging them in play and supporting oncology research.

The visual system is based on two of our core values: joy and playfulness. The logo symbol uses the JJ initials to create a dog's smile and nose. There are multiple versions of the logo to give it the flexibility to be used on various bright colors in our palette. I designed and produced the system, which includes print and digital communications. Not only creating digital art for social media campaigns, I'm now venturing into the marketing of the brand.
